Effective immediately, all of our future shows will be located at the AUSTIN HIGHWAY EVENT CENTER (formerly The Carmack Event Center), 1948 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX. That includes our January Jamboree and our July Summer Family Train Show. SAMRA is committed to bringing you the best train shows in the greater San Antonio area.

Venue for the 12th Annual Summer Train Show is set at the Carmack Center. The centers administration has guaranteed that additional doors for loading/unloading will be installed, lighting fixtures will be improved and all railings, ramps and stairs will be made ADA compliant.

Venue for the 39th Annual Jamboree and Train Show is set at the Carmack Center. Nany improvements have been made since our first show.

The day after our show, contractors began on the next phase of renovation. Current remodeling plans include removing the current ceiling and spraying with insulating foam, hanging new light fixtures, and installing a new AC system.

Improvements to the Austin Highway Event Center are moving along. New AC units, Light fixtures, additional electrical outlets have been installed. Other improvements to the building have been made and more will be completed for our show. WiFi is scheduled for installation on 7/12/15.

We are sad to announce that the SAMRA Board of Directors has elected to cancel the July 2016 Summer Show. Scheduling of futurer summer shows has not been determined.

A number of e-commerce functions are now available on line. This includes applying for membership, paying dues, purchasing member shirts, reserving vendor table at our next show, and making contributions to our building fund.

Our January show schedule and venue is set. Vendor tables can now be reserved. An order form is available for download.
