The Clark Valley Lumber Company’s mill operations provide a major source of traffic on the M&Sw. Tom Crosthwait scratchbuilt the sawmill (foreground, right). Fred Bock, an NMRA Master Model Railroader (MMR), scratchbuilt the A-Frame log dump (center background). The Clark Valley Mill is a “dry-deck” operation; the old log pond was filled in due to lack of a reliable source of water.
