Pool power from Mexico’s Ferrocarril del Pacifico – the only RS-11 owned by FCP -- heads FCP Extra 1506 South. This “officials’ special” passes the Ayers Junction station just outside of Flagstaff and is southbound to Globe, AZ. The M&Sw interchange with the ATSF is in the left background. Tom built the station from a Thomas Yorke kit. Fred built the aspens from “candytuft” dried flowers. Together, Tom and Fred mass-produced the “bottle brush” pines in the background using jute twine and florist wire.
